At Blissful Beats, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and deeply restorative experience for everyone. Whether you’re joining a sound bath, Reiki healing, or a combined session, here’s what you need to know before you arrive.

    To ensure your comfort, please bring:
    ✅ A warm blanket or a sleeping bag (sleeping bags work great for extra coziness!)
    ✅ A yoga mat or camping mat to lie on
    ✅ An eye mask (optional but recommended – available to purchase for £2)
    ✅ A bottle of water to stay hydrated
    ✅ A pillow for your head and an extra one for back/knee support if needed

    🌿 If you have mobility issues, you may find sitting more comfortable. Please let me know in advance so I can provide a chair, sun lounger, camp bed, or a spot on the cozy sofa (fits up to 3 people) at no extra cost.

    💫 Rhythm Retreats has a selection of mats and blankets available, but bringing your own is always recommended.

    Wear loose, comfortable clothing—something you’d feel relaxed in if you were meditating or lounging at home. Layers are great, as your body temperature can shift during the session.

    It’s best to eat lightly at least an hour before your session. A heavy meal may make you feel sluggish, while an empty stomach could be distracting.

    A sound bath is a deeply immersive experience where you lie down and allow healing vibrations to wash over you. I use a mix of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums to create a relaxing, meditative state.

    Many people experience:
    ✨ Deep relaxation – similar to a meditative or dream-like state
    ✨ Emotional release – feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace
    ✨ Physical sensations – tingling, warmth, or gentle vibrations in the body

    Nope! 😊 Your only job is to relax and receive. Simply lie back, close your eyes, and allow the sound or Reiki energy to do its work.

    That’s completely fine! Many people do. Even if you drift off, your body and mind will still receive the benefits of the healing vibrations.

    During Reiki or sound therapy, you may experience an emotional or physical response as your energy shifts and releases. This is called an abreaction and is completely natural. It may include:
    💧 Tears or laughter
    💓 Warmth, tingling, or slight body movements
    🌪️ Memories or emotions surfacing

    This is simply your body processing stored energy, and it’s a positive sign that healing is taking place. If this happens, just allow it to flow—there is no judgment, only a safe space for release.
